Following the modern (?) idea of the need for water conservation Miles Golding renovated the 1910 underground rainwater storage system at his house in Tennyson Road over 2008 - 2009 removing nearly 9 tonnes of rubble and sludge in the process.

Unfortunately a reproduction pump had to be installed, the original one being beyond repair.
