Murder in Harpenden

The suspect, George Erwyn, escaped in 1624

“George Erwyn, gentleman of Harpenden indicted 25 March for escape after being committed to gaol for killing Edward Erwyn at Harpenden. He broke out of St. Albans gaol 30 August 1624”

Hertford Assizes, 1625 (ref. 1459)

Does anyone know anything about these Erwyns? I have not been able to trace any other references to these events or contemporary references to Erwyn, Erwin or Irwin.
