End of the NatWest Bank in Harpenden /Loss of a family friend

I have just received notification that the National Westminster Bank of 21 Lower High Street, Harpenden is to close in May 2018. My bank account has been at this bank since January 1962 and has been a real part of my family life. It is a sad day for my family and for Harpenden.
